Sameh Ashour served as President of the Egyptian Bar Association for two consecutive terms from 2014 to 2020.
By virtue of his position, he became an automatic member of the Council of the Arab Lawyers Union. During his membership period, Ashour played an important role in strengthening the role of the Union and supporting Arab causes.
